Chris joined MacKay Shields in 2021.  Previously Chris spent 10 years at Shenkman Capital Management in various senior legal and compliance roles, most recently as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel. Prior to that, Chris was an associate in the Legal and Compliance Department of Oppenheimer Asset Management and a Compliance Associate with Bear Stearns.  Chris received a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from New York Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany. Chris has been working in the investment industry since 2006.
