Dale joined MacKay Shields in July of 2020 as Chief Technology & Operations Officer to develop and lead the long-term strategy for the technology and operations functions. This includes all aspects of the company’s applications portfolio with vendor based and proprietary builds, technology infrastructure, and investment operations. Dale has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry.

Prior to joining MacKay, Dale was a Partner at Lord Abbett & Co. managing their investment and enterprise platforms by developing technologies that support portfolio management, trading, operational processes and quantitative research functions. In addition, his responsibilities included the research and implementation of emerging technologies, architectural standards and the adoption of enterprise platforms.

Before working with Lord Abbett, he worked in financial services firms including Bloomberg and Goldman Sachs. He received both an MS and a BS in electrical engineering from Cornell University. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1996.
