Shawna joined MacKay Shields in September 2019 in the role of Chief of Staff where she supports the MacKay executive leadership team on key cross functional strategic initiatives. Prior to joining MacKay, Shawna spent 5 years at New York Life Investment Management where she held several Strategy and M&A roles.

Earlier in her career, Shawna worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Berenson & Company.  She earned a BA in Computer Science and a BS in Business from the University of California at Berkeley, and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
